I'm eating some nasty salad. I think salad and dinner rolls are a waste of pre-meal. My name is Vince and this is a project for Cynthia McCune's Journalism 61 course at San Jose State University. I like watching a lot of TV even though I barely have time for it. I also like sports. I love my teams, I hate yours.

The link for the chart I used will not work if i just paste in in here. So here's what you do: go to Students > Enrollment > By Gender and Class Level (it won't work if you click on the more logical By Gender & College, Degree, Major), then change the dropbox menu on the right side from "class level" to "college." Then click "finish" and you should get that chart.

Have you ever been in a class and noticed that you were the only girl? Or are you that lucky guy in a class full of girls? If you're the only girl in your class, you are most likely going to work with robotics and programming for most of the year. If you find out you're the only guy, you are probably going to analyze verses from Shakespeare or the quick brush strokes of Monet.

So which majors have the most male students and which have the most female? Believe it or not, the university does keep track of this. I've gathered statistics from the last five years and sought out other information to maybe give you a better understanding of this trend.
